The application forms of hydroxytyrosol in hair care need to be designed based on its characteristics:

Topical preparations: As an additive in hair conditioners or hair masks, the concentration is usually 0.1%-1%. It can fully penetrate the cuticle and hair shaft through application and stop (5-10 minutes). For scalp care serums, it can be combined with penetration enhancers (such as hyaluronic acid) to enhance its effect on hair follicles.

Oral supplementation: When taken orally, hydroxytyrosol can act on hair follicles through the bloodstream. However, its hair care effect depends on a sufficient dose (50-100mg per day) and continuous intake.
